I am moving and wanting to get a transfer with my job. How do I put a request in writting for a transfer?
How do I write a request for a job transfer? Should I include also my last working day? Not sure if I should do a resignation letter or transfer request? My company director has already told me verbally I can get a transfer but do I need to put this request in writting and including my last day of work?
Most of the time, your employer needs to do the transfer paperwork. Contact your boss and the manager of where you’re transfering to and let them know what’s going on and ask them if there’s anything that you need to do. More than likely, they’ll take care of the rest. I’ve transfered before and that’s basically how it went down.
