Can u really get sick from writting on yourself with sharpie?



i’ve heard all over the place not to write on myself becuz it can make u sick and u can die from it. is this true? and can anything bad happen from writting on urself with sharpie?

    If you’re particularly allergic, or you write like ALL over yourself, and you’re using the right kind of pen, it might be possible to get sick from it. But even more to the point, it looks dumb. If you want to write on something, use a piece of paper, not yourself.

    No, it will not make you sick. Your skin may absorb some f the dye but it won’t harm you. They’re supposed to be non-toxic.

    Sharpie markers are made of non-toxic chemicals. Therefore, writing on yourself won’t directly get you sick nor directly damage your skin. But, the problem would occur when you start removing these marks into your body. Once the ink would dry, you’ll have a hard time removing the marks. Some products such as acetone, rubbing alcohol, and lotion are proven to be effective in removing ink marks but frequent usage of these would probably result to a dry skin or other forms of skin damage.
