Authors: How long does it normally take you to revise a book?

Hi! Wow, I seem to be asking a lot of questions lately. I was just curious, though, for all authors out there, how long does it take you to revise your book once you have written it and re-written it? Thanks for any answers in advance!
Oops, I accidentally asked this question twice.

It really depends on how fast I wrote the book in the first place, whether I outlined or not… generally I give myself between 1 and 3 months for revision.

I’m a stickler for spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc. so I usually do it in 5 months..

I’ve found that it takes me much longer to revise my own work than it does someone else’s work. The problem is that I know what its SUPPOSE to say, rather than what it actually says. Normally, when working with my own project, it takes me about 6 weeks to revise. But, with someone else’s work, about a month.
